THE THIRD WAY WITH HORSES

What do we mean by the third way?

There are three ways that one may take in dealing with horses;

1st way:

You do what I want; the goal justifies the means.

2nd way:

You do what you want; the horse takes over, there is no view on the goal.

3rd way:

I want what you want, and you want what I want; creating harmony and balance.

We people have domesticated horses.

It is therefore our responsibility to respect and love the horse and properly treat and care them ‘horse worthy’. Horses are very forgiving and accept a lot from people.

The best thing you can achieve is pure contact with your horse and live together in harmony and balance. Our horse is also our teacher, because he is confronting us with our own behavior.

The horse gives us the wonderful opportunity to grow together with him and work on self-development. This goes beyond what sometimes is called ‘mirroring’.

We work on an energetic level with horses. Because of their sensitivity, we are able to communicate with subtle body language.

This way we gain proud and confident horses, and your horse will love to work with you.

Teach yourself to become aware of your own body through body awareness exercises so that you can communicate with your horse in a simple way, a way that the horse can understand and he can flourish.
